(I tested this brand for a full 6 weeks) Step #2 Toner The Biolee Acnepris blemish healing toner Comes in a plastic bottle that you can easily dispense directly into your hands or a cotton round (I used my hands). The ingredients include extract of pine pollen which is supposed to suppress acne causing bacteria, Extract of rose of China claims to clear up dead skin cells and brighten and calm the skin, Extract of Centella is meant to calm irritated skin, Extract of Matcha for moisturizing the skin. Now these are some of the key ingredients but this toner also has alcohol very high up their list and fragrance....oh mahh gawd the fragrance 😣 I have to be completely honest here the first couple of times I used this toner the fragrance was too much and it gave me headaches. It smells straight up like men's cologne to me. It took me a while to get used to this. The claims are that this is a low irritation and moisturizing toner; I used this toner for 6 weeks and even though it didn't do much for my acne it didnt cause any irritation or adverse reaction (I was a bit surprised tbh) but the moisturizing part I don't really agree with all that much. It was hydrating because it also has hyaluronic acid in the ingredients but not super moisturizing. It actually did help with balancing out my oil production throughout the day and if this didn't have such a strong scent I would feel comfortable recommending this more liberally but for now I will say proceed with caution.
